    Arkansas River Tours is a summer seasonal whitewater rafting outfitter in the beautiful Arkansas River Valley in Colorado. Our season is end of May through Labor Day. We are seeking a fun positive office staff member to. Come have a great summer with us on the river! 

    Position Summary:

    This position is responsible for facilitating the customers needs pre and post trip. This will include reservations, retail sales, photo sales and customer relations

    Role & Responsibilities:

    • Reservations
      • Work with customers to book their reservations over the phone, email or in person
      • Help recommend trip options to best fit the customer needs
      • Inform customer of surrounding area and local amenities outside of our business
      • Follow up on unpaid reservations and change requests
      • Report or suggest and changes needed to reservation system
    • Retail
      • Restocking and maintaining presentation of retail inventory
      • Working with POS system to complete sales transactions
      • Periodic inventory counts
      • Handling cash and credit card transactions
      • Closing of cash register, communicating and researching any cash variances
    • Imaging
      • Promoting of photo sales to customers
      • Organizing daily photos and displaying on monitors for guests to view
      • Working with guest that have issues ordering photos from tablets
      • Resending any emails that did not make it to customers
    • Tour Check Ins
      • Check in customers upon arrival and provide trip information to customers
      • Ensure all customers have liability waivers completed and reservations are paid in full
      • Sales for equipment rentals
    • Office Facilities
    Performing daily cleaning duties
