Welcome aboard the Historic Royal Gorge Route Railroad. We're glad you're here and you'll be happy to know that when you purchase your train ticket, you'll experience what has been called "one of the most scenic train rides in the world." You'll be treated to a Colorado nature show and the only way to see the entire 12-mile amazing canyon called the Royal Gorge. Watch Eagles, Blue Heron, and Red Tailed Hawks soar through the canyon. Our passengers spot majestic Big Horn Sheep, eagles soaring, and mule deer in the gorge daily. Our new VISTA DOME CARS offers the best seats in the house with unobstructed views from the upper level of a classic 1950's glass topped dome car. Nothing comes close to the experience and nostalgia of riding the rails through the bottom of this Grand Canyon!

CHOOSE YOUR CLASS OF SERVICE
We offer a class of service for everyone with choices of riding in coach, vista dome, wine express, gourmet lunch or dinner, murder mystery trains, and wine dinners. You can even book a reservation for a ride with our engineer as he negotiates the sharp curves of the Royal Gorge. We've added an additional glass topped dome car available for our popular lunch & dinner trains!
WINTER & SPRING WEEKENDS: February 2nd May 18th
Train departs every Saturday and Sunday at: 12:30 pm. Dinner train departs every Saturday evening at: 5:00 pm. Special Valentines dinner departures available.
SUMMER DAILY DEPARTURES: May 24th October 12th
Train departs daily at: 9:30, 12:30, 3:30*. Dinner, Mystery, & Wine Dinners depart on select evenings.
*3:30 pm departure is available daily through the summer, except from 8/18 10/12 when it is only available on Saturdays.
FALL & WINTER DEPARTURES: October 18th December 14th
Train departs every Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 pm. Dinner train departs every Saturday evening at 5:00 pm.
HOLIDAY DEPARTURES & SANTA EXPRESS TRAIN: December 20th December 31st
Train departs daily at: 12:30 pm. Santa on board from 12/20 12/24. Dinner train departs every Saturday evening at: 5:00 pm. Special New Years Eve Train departs at: 9:30 pm Dec. 31st.
