Senior services
The Caņon City Golden Shuttle Senior Transportation Program[a program of the Golden Age Center(GAC)] is in need of volunteer drivers. The volunteers typically drive once a week for 1/2 day. There is no special driver license required, but must have a defensive drivers certificate, CPR & first aid certification and a clean DMV printout. All certification are paid for by GAC. There is no pay, but a lot of satisfaction from helping the seniors in our area. If interested, please come into the Golden Age Center, 728 Main St. or call 275-5177.
