The Florence Rose, a Victorian Bed and Breakfast, built in 1896, revisits the grandeur of the Victorian era. Filled with period antiques and recently refurbished, the Florence Rose still maintains it's architectural integrity.
On the Left is the Asbury Room -Our most romantic/sweetheart room..with it's antique brass bed and 125 year old claw foot bath tub.
On the Left - The Kitchen -A full hot breakfast is included and served to all of the guests at 8:30am. Breakfast time can change to accomodate individuals depending on the activities of the day.
The Florence Rose is located approximately 35 minutes from Colorado Springs and 2 hours from Denver.
Florence is known as the antiques capital of southern Colorado, with over 20 shops, filled with yesteryear. When not "antiquing" you may take a short 15 minute drive to Canon City to experience the Royal Gorge, whitewater rafting or the world renown Royal Gorge train ride. If mountain viewing is your pleasure for the day you might enjoy an afternoon ride to Westcliffe through the scenic Sangre de Cristo mountains.
After a busy day of all the activities of the area, return to the Florence Rose to relax in one of its two antique filled parlors, sit and enjoy the landscaped dining terrace or take in a mountain sunset from the secluded hot tub gazebo.(pictured at the bottom left)
The Florence Rose has five full bedrooms, each with it's own private bath, and decorated in period antiques, 500 count Egyptian cotton linens, featherbed pillow tops and Egyptian cotton towels.
